Pearl Card Gold Mastercard?
Hi,
I few weeks ago I had received an offer through the mail from Genesis Financial Solutions stating that they had a solution for me to resolved an charged off debt from NCO Portfolio Management ( an collection agency that I owed a debt to.)
Not thinking about doing some research earlier before I had applied, I filled out the application. In a week, I’ve received a credit card in the mail which was a Pearl Card Gold Mastercard.
After I had received it, I called the number to have it activated, but the operator told me that I could not activated it until I make a payment of 35.00. Then two weeks later I received a statement in the mail to pay 40.00 as a minimum payment, even though I did not activate the card.
My question is, has anyone receive this type of card in the mail? Is it a hoax? Or is it legit? Thanks.
Don’t get visa. Or Mastercard. Or any of that crap. Decline all offers. Although 90% are legit, don’t. If you’ve got cash on hand, you will spend it. Calculating the interest rate, it sums up to 23-35% per annum. Just too much.
